About Studio 164

Studio 164 is based in Central Falkirk and offers learning opportunities, mostly in mosaic and glass. It was founded by Rhona Duffy, a Falkirk-based visual artist and craftsperson working in mosaic and glass. Rhona regularly teaches mosaic and glass workshops at Studio 164, and she welcomes other artists and craftspeople to teach there too, from Scotland and further afield. Regular visiting tutors include Una Galbraith (fused glass), Angela Steel (stained glass), Mieke Ceusters (mosaic) and Nikki Monaghan (painting). Studio 164 opened its doors in 2025 and has a reputation for being a warm and welcoming space with workshops often sold out well in advance. Rhona also regularly welcomes groups for workshops in mosaic and glass, which are often to celebrate a special occasion like a birthday. There is also a gift shop with mosaic work, greeting cards, prints and kits by Rhona available to buy. We would love to invite you to visit Studio 164 during Open Studios Falkirk.
